As dedicated devotees of Shree Ram Sharnam, Kalash along with his wife Rekha Mehta were instrumental in seeding and spreading Ram Naam & Amritvani throughout multiple mandirs and homes including their own. Numerous renowned Swami’s befriended Kalash and would call his home theirs on their visits. Kalash lived a very spiritual and compassionate life focused on self transcendence through Meditation, Bhakti, Hatha, and Gyan Yoga while he continued his selfless Seva for anyone in need. He exemplified how one can achieve higher levels of spirituality and inspired others with his own journey. He openly shared the immense knowledge and experience with other spiritual seekers.
Kalash was not motivated by wealth, rather he relished in being happy and satisfied with the simple pleasures of life. He was a lover of all animals and had profound admiration of the innate order in the natural world. A man of many talents, he self learned and performed various musical instruments such as harmonium, and expressed himself through his paintings, was learning a new language Sanskrit. His free spirited soul led him to experience life to its fullest embracing all of the adventures that came his way.
Kalash’s vibrant spirit and character illuminated the lives of those around him leaving an irreplaceable void. While the absence may be deeply felt, the legacy of his spirit continues to live on, serving as a guiding light and a wealth of inspiration. Kalash’s memories, teachings, and essence will remain embedded in the hearts of his loved ones.
