On November 24, 2023 Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago celebrated ‘Tulsi Vivah’ Eve at Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream IL. A very colorful Mahendi ceremony was performed with committee members and their spouses in attendance. A professional beautician along with her team made henna designs on the palms of 30 women; adorning them for the next day festivities -’Tulsi Vivah’. On November 25, more than 500 members attended this precious ceremony. BSC Secretary Rasila Dobariya welcomed all the guests from the bride (Tulsi) side and groom (Shaligram) side. A traditional Vargodo, Wedding ceremony with live wedding song was performed by a melodious live band.
Parth Patel & Mayuri Patel also performed a beautiful number.
‘Tulsi Vivah’ Devi Tulsi Yajman was Babulal & Pushpa Bhorania and Bhagvan Shree Shaligram Yajman was Pinakin & Bhavini Patel. At the end of ceremony everybody enjoyed Garba and took delicious dinner. BSC President Haribhai Patel and BSC Managing Trustee Parsottam Pandya thanked all BSC members and for making the event a huge success.
