On Saturday, June 29, the Haridham YDS temple hosted the grand premiere of the highly anticipated historical film “Kasoombo.” Presented by Sean Patel and Ramesh Punatar of USA Film Productions, this event marked the film’s debut in Chicago. The premiere was honored by chief guest Sunil Shah, joined by a distinguished assembly of artists, singers, actors, and cinematographers. With over 200 guests in attendance, the audience immersed themselves in the expertly directed family movie.
“Kasoombo,” adapted from Vimal Kumar Dhami’s true story and novel “Amar Balidan,” produced by Vijaygiri Bava, captivates viewers with its powerful dialogues and memorable music. The film portrays the heroic sacrifices of Adipur villagers who defended Hindu temples from the ambitions of Allauddin Khilji, particularly the Palitana religious temple.
Attendees praised “Kasoombo” for its deeply moving narrative and captivating storytelling, affirming its status as a compelling cinematic experience.
