World Hindu Council of America (VHPA) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Canada Unveil Ambitious Grand Mandir Tour Across North America

By: Vandana Jhingan

In a groundbreaking initiative, the World Hindu Council of America (VHPA) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad of Canada are set to combine their efforts for an extraordinary journey, physically reaching every registered Mandir across the United States and Canada. The epic journey is scheduled to commence on March 25, 2024, from the Om Hindu Center in Billerica, MA, featuring a specially adorned van carrying statues of Shree Ram, Sita, Lakshaman, and Hanuman.

The primary goal of this monumental endeavor is to personally deliver Prasad and Akshat obtained by VHPA Delegates who actively participated in the Shree Ram Lalla Murti Prana Pratishtha in Ayodhya Dham on January 22, 2024. Additionally, the initiative aims to present written recognition of participation in the Shree Ram Lalla Murti Prana Pratishtha. This ambitious task is set to be accomplished in 45 days, encompassing the entire expanse of the USA and Canada. Commencing on March 25th, the day after Purnima of Holi on Krishna Paksha Pratipada, the tour will reach its culmination on April 23, 2024, the auspicious day of Shree Hanuman Jayanti, back at Billerica, MA, having visited over 1000 temples across both nations.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America and Canada warmly invites volunteers to partake in this noble effort. Registration for those committed to 4 days of Seva will commence on February 8, 2024.
