
Chicago event unites South Asian Christian community in joyful celebration

A recent holy event in Chicago drew a large and enthusiastic gathering from the South Asian Christian community, showcasing a vibrant program with performances by 20 solo singers and 10 groups.
Participating churches and groups included the Indo Pak Church, Hope United Methodist Church Naperville, Presbyterian Church of Mt Prospect, and His Voice group, highlighting a collaborative effort that underscored the event’s significance. Shane Solanki, founder of the Gospel Songs Choir Chicago, emphasized the event’s unique role in providing a platform for Christian singers, musicians, and artists in Chicago to unite in praise.
He, alongside community leaders Vijender Doma and Babu Varma, pledged to make such gospel singing gatherings an annual tradition. In conclusion, Solanki expressed heartfelt gratitude to all supporters of the Gospel Songs Choir Chicago for their contributions to the event’s success. Attendees also enjoyed delicious cuisine provided by Oberoi Restaurant, enhancing the overall experience.
