Israeli Operations Across West Bank Result in 29 Palestinian Deaths Since August 28

Since August 28, Israeli military operations across the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of 29 Palestinians and injuries to 121 others, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The casualties include 18 people killed in Jenin, four in Tubas, and four in Tulkarm—areas located in the northern part of the West Bank. Additionally, three individuals were killed in Hebron in the south.

The Israeli forces have continued their operations in Jenin and its refugee camp for a sixth consecutive day. Local reports indicate extensive damage to infrastructure, including water and electricity networks, as well as private property.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that their operations in Jenin have led to the deaths of 14 militants in firefights and airstrikes, the seizure of about 20 weapons, and the arrest of 25 militants.

The large-scale raid in the northern West Bank, which began on Wednesday, is part of Israel’s efforts to prevent future attacks. Since the beginning of the Palestine-Israel conflict in October 2023, over 660 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli attacks across the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
