Siddh Peeth Mahabali Sankatmochan Shri Hanuman Temple Celebrates the Completion of Shrimad Bhagwat Maha Purana Katha

Ludhiana, September 1 – The Siddh Peeth Mahabali Sankatmochan Shri Hanuman Temple
in Shankaracharya Nagar, Haibowal Kalan, successfully concluded its seven-day Shrimad
Bhagwat Maha Purana Katha. Following the completion of the divine event, the temple trust,
led by Aman Jain, Rishi Jain, Anuj Madan, and Saurav Jain, along with the esteemed
storyteller Acharya Shri Praful Ji Maharaj, offered prayers of gratitude to Shri Radha
Govind Ji and Shri Bala Ji Maharaj.
Acharya Shri Praful Ji emphasized the importance of expressing thanks to Lord Shri Hari after
such spiritual gatherings to ensure continued divine blessings. He also encouraged devotees to
incorporate the teachings of the Shrimad Bhagwat into their daily lives to foster spiritual
growth.
The grand katha drew large crowds throughout its duration, and on the final day, devotees from
Ludhiana and neighboring villages gathered in huge numbers to listen to the concluding chapters
of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. Acharya Shri Praful Ji Maharaj led the devotees through
stories like the Sudama Charitra and Parikshit Moksha, leaving many in deep spiritual reflection.
He also urged everyone to incorporate the teachings of the Bhagwat into their daily lives.
During the final day of the katha, through the tale of Sudama, a touching example of friendship
was shared with the devotees, promoting the message of equality in society. Acharya Shri Praful
Ji explained that listening to the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha for seven days can bring about spiritual
redemption for listeners and great merit for those who host the event.
Following the katha’s conclusion, the temple trust organized a langar prasad for all attendees.
The sacred Bhagwat scriptures were carried throughout the temple, and offerings from the seven
days were immersed in the waters of the holy Ganges in Haridwar. The service of this immersion
was performed by Pandit Narayan Pandey, along with several other volunteers from the temple.
On the final day, a structured havan yagna was performed by a group of families. Pundits Devi
Dayal Sharma, Vishnu Prasad, and Ram Ji led the holy rituals.
To honor Acharya Shri Praful Ji’s contributions, the temple trust presented him with a memento.
The event concluded with the recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa and the hoisting of a sacred
flag. The temple trust reaffirmed its commitment to organizing future events to promote Sanatan
Dharma and continue its spiritual mission.
Acharya Shri Praful Ji highlighted the importance of thanking Lord Shri Hari and incorporating Bhagwat teachings into daily life for spiritual growth. The final day attracted large crowds from Ludhiana and nearby areas, with the storytelling emphasizing messages of friendship and equality.
The closing ceremonies included a langar prasad, immersion of Bhagwat scriptures in the Ganges, a havan yagna performed by families, and a memento presentation to Acharya Shri Praful Ji. The event ended with the Hanuman Chalisa and a sacred flag hoisting. The temple trust remains dedicated to promoting Sanatan Dharma through future events.
