CM Yogi: PM Modi’s US Visit Enhances India’s Global Image
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the success of his recent three-day visit to the US, praising the diplomatic achievements that have enhanced India’s global standing.
He stated, “This visit has further solidified India’s image as a positive and transformative force on the world stage.” In a media address, CM Yogi referred to Modi as “the world’s most popular leader,” highlighting that the trip was not only a significant foreign policy success but also elevated the credibility of “Brand India.”
One notable aspect of the visit was Modi’s pledge of $7.5 million in aid and 40 million vaccine doses to combat cervical cancer in the Indo-Pacific region during the ‘Cancer Moonshot’ program at the QUAD Leaders Summit. CM Yogi remarked that this reflects India’s Rishi tradition of “Sarve Santu Niramaya” (May all be free from disease).
He also mentioned the historic launch of the ‘Shakti’ semiconductor manufacturing plant, marking a significant achievement in silicon diplomacy between the US and India within the Quad framework.
Furthermore, CM Yogi noted that Modi’s efforts led to the return of rare Indian artefacts, including a 4,000-year-old statue. To date, 578 artefacts have been repatriated from the US, signaling a cultural renaissance in India under Modi’s leadership.
The CM highlighted a special agreement between India and the US to promote micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which he believes will significantly benefit states like Uttar Pradesh.
In a critique of the opposition, Yogi pointed out that a new geopolitical landscape has emerged post-COVID-19, asserting that no global group is complete without India’s involvement. He accused opposition leaders of undermining the nation’s image by aligning with anti-national forces.
He praised PM Modi, stating that leaders from conflict-ridden nations now look to him for solutions. “Our Prime Minister is the architect of India’s transformation into a global leader over the past decade,” he affirmed.
Yogi also expressed gratitude on social media, stating: “Prime Minister Modi’s exemplary diplomacy has reinforced India’s image as a strong, positive, transformative leader. Your vision for public welfare during the Quad Summit and the ‘Modi and US’ mega community event has positioned ‘New India’ as a solution to global challenges. Thank you, Prime Minister, for elevating India-US relations and enhancing our nation’s global standing.”
