Salman Khan gets another death threat, unknown caller demands Rs. 2 crore

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who currently hosts the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 18,’ has received another death threat. An unknown caller has demanded Rs. 2 crore from him.

This threat comes after police arrested a Noida-based man for sending threats to Salman Khan. The Worli police have registered an offense against an unidentified person for sending various WhatsApp messages on Mumbai Police’s Traffic Helpline number, demanding Rs. 2 crore from the actor.

Previously, a person from Jharkhand, who sent threatening messages to Salman Khan, issued an apology. This individual claimed to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had requested Rs. 5 crore to resolve the matter.

Salman has been targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang due to his alleged hunting of a black buck, which the Bishnoi community considers sacred, back in the 1990s.

A few weeks ago, Salman’s close friend, politician Baba Siddique, was gunned down near his office in the Colgate ground area of Nirmal Nagar, Bandra, Mumbai. Baba, who joined Ajit Pawar’s faction of the NCP, died after being shot by unidentified individuals on October 12. Salman and Baba Siddique were close friends, as the politician represented the constituency where Salman lives. Baba Siddique’s Iftar parties were known as some of the most high-profile events in India’s entertainment capital.

It was at a Baba Siddique Iftar party in 2013 that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan ended their long-standing feud, which had divided the Bollywood industry into two camps for five years. The two superstars hugged it out at the party, bringing relief to the industry and encouraging cross-camp collaborations.
