
Australia’s Deputy PM meets Mahant Swami Maharaj in Melbourne
Richard Marles, the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, recently met Mahant Swami Maharaj at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Cranbourne, Melbourne.
The visit signifies the strengthening cultural and spiritual bonds between Australia and India, while also recognizing the contributions of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in promoting harmony, service, and devotion throughout the country.
During his address, Deputy Prime Minister Marles expressed his gratitude for receiving Mahant Swami Maharaj’s blessings and acknowledged the vibrant Hindu community that is flourishing in Australia.
Regarding the vision for the future Melbourne Mandir, Marles stated, “We welcome and look forward to the vision of the Melbourne Mandir, which will not only serve as a gathering place for Hindus in Melbourne, but also as a bridge connecting Australia and India.”
