
Indian Haj pilgrims praise smooth 2025 journey
Indian pilgrims performing Haj 2025 have lauded the Indian government for ensuring smooth travel, quality facilities, and responsive support throughout their journey in Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Minority Affairs shared on X that pilgrims traveling through the Haj Committee of India expressed satisfaction with the management and services. Minister of State for Minority Affairs, George Kurian, also highlighted the Centre’s commitment to a comfortable and dignified pilgrimage.
Indian Consul General in Jeddah, Fahad Ahmed Khan Suri, is leading ‘Team India’ in coordinating pilgrim movement from Haram Shareef to Azizia accommodations. The team also ensures on-the-spot medical support during peak crowd times.
The Indian Haj Mission has deployed mobile teams, dispensaries, and hospitals to provide 24/7 medical care, with doctors, nurses, and ambulances on standby.
Earlier, Suri reviewed pilgrim movement plans for Mecca, Mina, and Arafat. India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Suhel Khan, also visited pilgrims in Mecca to assess their well-being.
