
Indian MPs in Russia push Operation Sindoor agenda
An Indian all-party parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi met with top Russian leaders in Moscow as part of Operation Sindoor, India’s diplomatic outreach to rally global support against terrorism.
The delegation held key talks with Mikhail Fradkov, former Russian Prime Minister and Director of the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies, focusing on evolving global security threats and joint efforts to combat terrorism.
The group also engaged with Russian senators, including Andrey Denisov of the Federation Council and Leonid Slutsky of the State Duma, emphasizing India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism and the need for collective global action.
Meetings were also held with Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko to discuss regional and international developments. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to a multipolar world order and deeper India-Russia cooperation.
