Indian MPs highlight anti-terror stance during Kuwait visit
An Indian all-party delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda, met senior Kuwaiti leaders and civil society members to emphasize India’s uncompromising stance against cross-border terrorism. The interaction was held in a traditional Diwaniya-style event co-hosted by the Indian Embassy and Kuwaiti think tank Reconnaissance Research.
The discussion focused on India-Kuwait strategic ties and India’s “New Normal” approach to terrorism, especially in light of the recent Pahalgam attack. Both sides reaffirmed that terrorism must be countered in all forms.
Earlier, the delegation visited Kuwait’s Grand Mosque, met the Indian community, and paid floral tribute at the Shilaphalakam memorial. They also held talks with Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah Saad Al-Maousherji, who appreciated India’s position and agreed that terrorism has no justification.
The delegation includes MPs from BJP, AIMIM, and other leaders as part of Operation Sindoor to highlight India’s global anti-terror efforts.
