Trump warns Iran: Full US force will respond to any attack
As Middle East tensions intensified, US President Donald Trump issued a forceful warning to Iran on Sunday, making it clear that any attack on American interests would trigger an overwhelming military response.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump emphasized that the United States had no role in the latest Israeli strikes on Tehran. However, he added, “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.”
He also suggested that a peace deal between Iran and Israel was still possible, writing, “We can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict!”
Tensions have escalated dramatically since Israel launched Operation “Rising Lion” on Friday, targeting key Iranian nuclear and military sites. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed strikes on Iran’s Defense Ministry headquarters, the SPND nuclear research facility, and an alleged site for hidden nuclear archives.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps retaliated by launching missiles at Israeli energy infrastructure, including jet fuel depots. Air raid sirens sounded across Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, signaling the seriousness of the threat.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the operation, stating it was essential to “roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.” He vowed the campaign would continue “for as many days as it takes.”
Amid the military escalation, Trump reiterated his stance that Iran should return to the negotiating table over its nuclear program. “Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left,” he warned.
