Seattle witnessed a flavorful celebration of India’s famed mangoes as the Consulate General of India, in collaboration with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), hosted a special mango promotion event on July 10. The event was part of the Consulate’s ongoing efforts to boost trade promotion and expand market access for Indian agricultural products in the United States.

Titled “Flavors of Indian Mangoes,” the showcase brought together a curated tasting experience featuring five of India’s most beloved mango varieties: Dussehri, Chausa, Langra, Mallika, and Totapuri. The event was attended by leading Seattle-based importers and select members of the media, offering them an opportunity to sample the unique textures, aromas, and flavors of each variety.
