The Consulate General of India in Chicago is inviting the community to come together for Kala Utsav 2025, a vibrant cultural festival taking place on Sunday, August 31, at the Yellow Box in Naperville.

The evening will showcase India’s rich traditions through classical dance, folk performances, soulful music, and contemporary art forms, offering audiences an immersive journey into the country’s artistic heritage.

“Kala Utsav is more than just a celebration of art—it is an opportunity for families to connect with India’s culture and for the wider American community to experience the depth of our traditions,” the Consul General said ahead of the event.

Organizers say the festival is designed to be both entertaining and educational, making it an evening where every member of the family can discover something new. With Naperville’s Yellow Box serving as the venue, the program is expected to draw a wide cross-section of the Midwest’s Indian American community, along with friends of India who share an appreciation for its culture.

Admission is open to all, and the Consulate encourages families, students, and community members to join in celebrating India’s timeless artistic spirit.
