A grand musical Shri Ram Katha was organized at Shrimad Bhagwat Park in Rohini, New Delhi, to mark the auspicious occasion of the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The seven-day spiritual discourse brought together devotees, cultural leaders, and community members in a celebration of Lord Ram’s enduring legacy.

The event featured renowned storyteller Pujya Acharya Shravan Kumar Ji Maharaj, who arrived from Chitrakoot Dham, the sacred land associated with Lord Ram’s penance. Through his evocative and spiritually uplifting narration, he held the audience spellbound, weaving devotion, music, and philosophy into each session.

The Shri Ram Katha was held from December 12 to December 18 and was organized under the leadership of Thakur Narendra Singh Ji, President of the Shri Narhari Thakur Ji Seva Samiti.

Several distinguished guests attended the event, including Dr. Pawan Arya, National In-Charge of Sudarshan Rashtranirman; Shri Satyaprakash Dwivedi, National Vice President of Vishva Manav Kalyan Sangh and senior journalist with the U.S.-based newspaper Indo US Tribune; internationally acclaimed magician and Senior Citizen Award recipient Dr. Ashok Kharbanda, Chairman of IBM and Jadoo Kala Trust; Shri Gajendra Singh Chauhan, Chief Executive Officer of the world’s first high-definition-ready spiritual satellite television channel; Shri Praveer Dutta, Editor of Navdeep Kesari; Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Legislative Assembly Kulwant Rana from the Rohini–Rithala constituency; North-West Rohini District Vice President and social worker Vikas Singh Bobby; and Thakur Virendra Pratap Singh, a prominent social worker and businessman from Chitrakoot, among others.

During his discourse, Pujya Acharya Shravan Kumar Ji Maharaj emphasized that there is no figure comparable to Lord Ram, who embodied ideal conduct, discipline, sacrifice, unwavering devotion to his father’s command, deep respect for his wife, and exceptional valor as a warrior. These qualities, he said, are why Lord Ram is revered as Maryada Purushottam, the supreme embodiment of righteousness. He added that every phase of Lord Ram’s life offers lessons that remain relevant and worthy of emulation in the modern world.
