Purnima Nath qualifies for Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District ballot with strong grassroots support
Republican congressional candidate Purnima Nath has officially secured a place on the ballot for Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District race after her nomination papers were certified by the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
The Nath campaign submitted 2,368 valid nomination signatures, more than double the number required to qualify for the August primary election. Campaign officials described the achievement as a reflection of strong grassroots support from residents throughout Milwaukee and Milwaukee County.
Expressing gratitude to supporters, Nath said the successful certification represents an important milestone for the campaign and demonstrates the trust that voters have placed in her candidacy.
“I am grateful to every resident who took the time to sign and support this campaign,” Nath said. “This certification represents public responsibility, civic trust, and accountability to the people.”
Nath emphasized that her campaign is centered on independent judgment, practical solutions, and evidence-based policymaking rather than partisan considerations.
“This campaign is guided by principle, not political convenience,” she said. “I evaluate issues based on evidence, outcomes, and their impact on everyday people. My commitment is to accountability, transparency, and restoring trust in public institutions.”
As the race for Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District begins to intensify, Nath said voters are increasingly looking for leaders who prioritize public service and effective governance over political division.
“People are looking for steady, focused leadership grounded in service, not political theatre,” she stated. “My focus is to strengthen institutions, ensure accountability, and serve the public with integrity and consistency.”
The campaign’s successful signature drive marks the first major organizational milestone in Nath’s bid for Congress and positions her to compete in the upcoming Republican primary. Over the coming weeks, she plans to continue meeting directly with voters across the district to discuss issues affecting local families, businesses, and communities.
Nath said her campaign will focus on practical governance, transparency, and rebuilding public confidence in government institutions.
“This is a campaign about service, responsibility, and ensuring government remains accountable to the people it serves,” she said.
Wisconsin’s 4th Congressional District, centered in Milwaukee, is one of the state’s most closely watched congressional districts. Nath’s qualification for the ballot ensures voters will have an opportunity to evaluate her vision and priorities as the campaign moves toward the August primary election.
