CM Mohan Yadav to address investors in Spain, promote Madhya Pradesh opportunities

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to promote investment opportunities in his state during the ‘Invest in Madhya Pradesh’ forum in Madrid, Spain, on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister, accompanied by his wife and a delegation of senior officials, arrived in Madrid and met Indian Ambassador Dinesh K Patnaik. Speaking to the media, Yadav emphasized that he aims to attract foreign investment to Madhya Pradesh across multiple sectors.

During his stay in Spain until July 19, CM Yadav will participate in several high-level meetings focusing on industries, tourism, sports, culture, and film production. A significant highlight will be his meeting with the President of Spain’s Film Commission to explore international film shooting opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Juan Ignacio Entrecanales, Chairman of the Spain India Council Foundation, will also address the investment forum. CM Yadav will additionally meet members of the Indian diaspora in Spain.

The visit to Spain follows a successful three-day business trip to Dubai (July 13–15), where the Chief Minister held key meetings with officials from DP World, Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), LuLu Group, Etisalat (e&), and Tata Group. These talks focused on collaboration in logistics, tourism, food processing, and textiles.

In a video message, Yadav described the Dubai trip as fruitful, with promising investment proposals in various sectors. The Bharat Mart project—discussed with JAFZA—is envisioned as a global trade gateway, with Madhya Pradesh playing a pivotal role in the international supply chain.

He also met UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, to explore opportunities under the India-UAE CEPA, reinforcing MP’s appeal for foreign investors through strong infrastructure and policy backing.
