PM Modi to Kick Off Two-Day Gujarat Visit Today, Launching Projects Worth Over Rs 280 Crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for various infrastructure and development projects exceeding Rs 280 crore in Ekta Nagar, Kevadia on Wednesday. These initiatives aim to enhance the tourist experience, improve accessibility, and support sustainability efforts in the region.

The Prime Minister is expected to launch these projects around 5:30 p.m. Following this, he will address the Officer Trainees of the 99th Common Foundation Course during the Aarambh 6.0 program, which this year focuses on the theme ‘Roadmap for Aatmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat.’

The 99th Common Foundation Course—Aarambh 6.0—includes 653 Officer Trainees from 16 civil services of India and three civil services from Bhutan.

On the second day of his visit (Thursday), PM Modi will start by offering a floral tribute at the ‘Statue of Unity’ at approximately 7:15 a.m. He will then participate in the ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ celebrations.

During the event, the Prime Minister will administer the ‘Ekta Diwas’ pledge and observe the ‘Ekta Diwas Parade,’ which will feature 16 marching contingents from nine states and one Union Territory police, along with four Central Armed Police Forces, NCC, and a marching band. Highlights will include the ‘Hell March’ contingent of the NSG, a daredevil show by BSF and CRPF bikers, a demonstration of Indian Martial Arts by BSF, a piped band performance by school children, and a ‘Surya Kiran’ flypast by the Indian Air Force, among other attractions.
