The Siddh Peeth Mahabali Sankatmochan Shri Hanuman Mandir, located in Joshi Nagar–Shankaracharya Nagar (Haibowal Kalan), conducted its continuous 1,305th Havan Yajna on Sunday. The sacred ritual was performed under the guidance of Temple President Aman Jain, Chairman Rishi Jain, and Vice President Anuj Madan.
Morning Havan ceremony
Devotees gathered early in the morning alongside yajman families to offer sacred ahutis in prayer for global welfare and universal harmony. The Vedic ceremony was conducted by temple priests — Acharya Pandit Vishnu Ji, Pandit Devi Dayal Ji, Pandit Ram Ji, Pandit Sanjay Ji, Pandit Suresh Ji, Pandit Vishram Ji, and Pandit Narayan Ji.
Gita Jayanti observed with reverence
A day earlier, on the holy Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha, the temple observed Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Jayanti, known as Gita Jayanti — the sacred day on which Lord Krishna delivered the divine teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. In honor of this occasion, the temple’s acharyas formally inaugurated the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha following traditional rites.
Daily Katha schedule
Temple President Aman Jain, Chairman Rishi Jain, Vice President Anuj Madan, and Secretary Saurabh Jain announced that Acharya Pandit Devi Dayal Ji and Acharya Pandit Vishnu Ji will lead the Bhagwat Katha discourse every evening from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Following the spiritual session, devotees will be served a special prasad titled “Coffee with Thakur Ji.”
Invitation to the devotee community
The temple management warmly invited all devotees to attend the daily katha and receive divine blessings. Vice President Anuj Madan explained, “The day of Maha Bhagwat Jayanti is celebrated as Gita Jayanti. It marks the divine moment when Lord Krishna revealed the wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna during the Mahabharata war. This sacred observance falls annually on the Ekadashi of the Shukla Paksha of the Margashirsha month and signifies the eternal birth of spiritual knowledge.”
