In a display of unwavering support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) chapter organized the ‘Ab ki Baar 400 Par Car Rally’ in Chicago. The event, held ahead of the upcoming general elections in India, saw enthusiastic participation from the Indian diaspora, showcasing their solidarity with the ideals and vision of the Modi government.
The rally, spearheaded by OFBJP volunteers in Chicago, witnessed an impressive turnout of over 125 cars converging at the Hari Sumiran temple in Long Grove, in the northern suburbs of Illinois. Before the rally’s commencement, nearly 250 members of the diaspora and devotees gathered at the temple premises to partake in prayers and Kirtan, setting a spiritual tone for the event.

Addressing the attendees, Himanshu Sheth, the event’s host, elucidated the rally’s purpose and significance. He underscored the Modi government’s remarkable achievements, particularly in infrastructure and economic development, emphasizing their pivotal role in shaping India’s growth trajectory.

Amar Upadhyay, a volunteer from the Chicago chapter, urged attendees to propagate PM Modi’s message of inclusivity and development actively. He emphasized the upcoming Indian election as a watershed moment in the country’s democratic history and called upon the diaspora to play an instrumental role in steering India towards progress.

Rakesh Malhotra, another volunteer from the Chicago area highlighted the indispensable role of the Indian diaspora in shaping the future of their homeland. Terming the rally a ‘Kartavay Rally,’ he expressed gratitude for the diaspora’s steadfast support. He implored youngsters to leverage social media platforms for advocacy, stressing the importance of assuming responsibility for India’s governance and progress.

Shailesh Rajput of Hindu Mahotsav encouraged the audience to utilize communication channels like WhatsApp to mobilize their friends and family in India to exercise their voting rights, thus contributing to the democratic process.

The event culminated with a ceremonial pooja performed by Purohit Rohit Joshi and Pandit Bharat ji, who led the attendees in the Sankalp of “Ab ki Baar 400 Par,” symbolizing their collective determination to ensure victory in the upcoming elections.

The ‘Ab ki Baar 400 Par Car Rally’ served as a testament to the unwavering support of the Indian diaspora for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, underscoring their commitment to the ideals of inclusivity, development, and progress for a thriving India.
