Award-winning Gujarati film ‘Mane Lai Ja’ screened at Haridham YDS Temple
On Sunday, June 16, the auditorium of Haridham YDS Temple became a hub of cultural celebration and social awareness as it hosted the screening of the acclaimed Gujarati film ‘Mane Lai Ja.’ This heart-touching film, which has won 14 awards, drew an audience of over 125 guests who were moved by its powerful message.
‘Mane Lai Ja’ promotes the ‘Beti Bachao’ (Save Daughters) campaign and underscores the importance of treating adopted children with the same love and care as biological children. The film poignantly addresses the need to embrace and nurture orphaned children, advocating against neglect and emphasizing the value of every child’s life.
In a generous gesture, all proceeds from the screening were donated to Haridham YDS Temple by Sean Patel and Ramesh Punatar of USA Film Productions. Their contribution reflects a commitment to both cultural enrichment and social responsibility, reinforcing the film’s message of compassion and care.
