Bharatiya Senior Citizens of Chicago ring in 2025 with a vibrant celebration

On December 31, 2024, the Bharatiya Senior Citizens (BSC) of Chicago rang in the New Year with a grand celebration at the Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream, near Chicago. The event saw over 1,500 attendees, who joined in the festivities with great enthusiasm.
BSC President Haribhai Patel warmly welcomed all the seniors and invited guests, wishing everyone a prosperous and joyful New Year. The evening kicked off with a cocktail hour from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, offering a selection of tea, coffee, biscuits, Pani Puri, live Bhajiya, Samosa chaat, soda drinks, and a bar.
The dinner that followed was a grand affair, offering a diverse selection of delicious dishes that catered to every taste. From flavorful vegetarian curries to savory rice dishes and indulgent desserts, the meal was thoughtfully prepared to ensure a memorable experience for all attendees.
At 8:30 pm, the entertainment began, with live music provided by the talented Kosha Pandya. She captivated the crowd with a mix of new and classic Bollywood songs, setting the tone for a lively celebration. The program featured a variety of exciting performances, including GO GO dancers, belly dancers, and a digital lighting robot. The dancers and performers charmed the crowd with their unique and energetic routines, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere.
As the clock struck midnight, everyone gathered to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, dropping balloons and exchanging heartfelt congratulations. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and camaraderie, as seniors celebrated this special occasion together.
At the end of the evening, BSC President Haribhai Patel expressed his gratitude to all the executive members for their hard work in making the event a success, attributing the program’s triumph to their dedication.
