India’s Consul General in New York, Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, held an in-depth interaction with a delegation from BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, led by Sadhu Nilkanthsevadas Swami, highlighting the growing role of spiritual and cultural institutions in strengthening India–United States ties.

The discussions focused on enhancing people to people connections, promoting India’s civilizational heritage, and expanding collaboration in areas such as youth engagement, community service, and interfaith dialogue. The Consul General praised BAPS for its sustained efforts to showcase India’s spiritual traditions while fostering social harmony and volunteerism across diverse communities in the United States.

BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in North America, has emerged as a major center for spiritual learning, cultural outreach, and diaspora engagement. Drawing visitors from across the country and abroad, the temple plays a significant role in deepening awareness of India’s history, philosophy, and values.
