
Consul General meets BAPS Akshardham delegation in New Jersey to advance India–U.S. cultural engagement
India’s Consul General in New York, Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, held an in-depth interaction with a delegation from BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, led by Sadhu Nilkanthsevadas Swami, highlighting the growing role of spiritual and cultural institutions in strengthening India–United States ties.
The discussions focused on enhancing people to people connections, promoting India’s civilizational heritage, and expanding collaboration in areas such as youth engagement, community service, and interfaith dialogue. BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in North America, has emerged as a major center for spiritual learning, cultural outreach, and diaspora engagement.
