
Hari Om Mandir hosts grand Shri Hanuman Mahotsav in Medinah, Chicago

In a spirited display of devotion and community unity, Hari Om Mandir celebrated a magnificent Shri Hanuman Mahotsav in Medinah, drawing more than 900 attendees. Organized under the leadership of Chairman Brij Sharma and President Vipin Wadhera, along with the support of Acharya Vajpayee and Anurag Awasthi, the event brought together families from across the region.
The celebration began with a Sapta Kundi Havan, in which around 50 families participated, offering prayers with deep reverence. Devotees were then immersed in the soulful recitation of Sundar Kand and Hanuman Chalisa, led by renowned singer Ajay Yagnik, creating a powerful spiritual atmosphere.A highlight of the event was the breathtaking moment when a helicopter showered flower petals over a towering idol of Hanumanji placed in the town square. The spectacle moved many to tears, as it added a celestial aura to the celebration.
Following the devotional segments, attendees enjoyed a vibrant cultural program featuring performances by children, showcasing the richness of tradition and talent within the community.Organizers Brij Sharma and Vipin Wadhera expressed heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, guests, and media representatives. Special thanks were extended to journalist Jayanti Oza for covering the event. As a memorable gesture, each guest received a Hanumanji idol as a token of blessings and gratitude.
