
Harisumiran Temple hosts prayer event honoring victims of Kashmir terror attack
In a solemn and spiritually uplifting evening, the Harisumiran Temple organized a Kirtan Bhakti and Aradhana last week to pay tribute to the 26 innocent civilians killed in the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The event brought members of the local community together in a heartfelt show of remembrance, prayer, and unity.The ceremony began with the lighting of a traditional lamp—symbolizing hope and peace—before moving into a sequence of devotional songs and bhajans organized around four central themes: Prarthna (Prayer), Prem (Love), Samarpan (Surrender), and Desh Bhakti (Patriotism). The serene melodies and chanting filled the temple hall, offering a space for spiritual reflection and healing.
A Shanti Path was also recited, dedicating peace to the souls of the departed and offering collective prayers for the grieving families.Notable community leaders and representatives from various spiritual and social organizations attended the event, demonstrating solidarity across cultural lines.
