Indian Seniors of Chicago celebrate Annual Gala

‘Indian Seniors of Chicago’ is a group that works for the benefit of senior citizens in Manav Seva Mandir in Bensenville Village near Chicago. The group celebrated its annual event on December 9 and saw a great turnout from the members of the community. On this occasion, dignitaries of Gujarati society, Chhotalal Patel, Dr. Bharat Barai, Dahyabhai Prajapati, Rajubhai Chauhan, Bhailal Patel, Dr. Bhagvanji Meghpara, Ramanbhai Patel were present. The event saw a participation of over four hundred members.
Secretary Hirabhai Patel, welcomed the guests and members and gave a detailed speech about ‘Indian Seniors of Chicago’ and its functioning in the opening address. Executive members and the President of the group Narsinhbhai Patel honored the guests. Dr. Bharat Barai presented his ideas for public awareness in his speech.
In the second part of the program, singers and musicians put on a colorful show. The members danced to the rhythm of the music and had a gala time. In the end, Group President Narsinhbhai Patel thanked all the members for making the annual program a success. He also thanked ‘Saregam’ and Nupur Sound group for a night filled with melodious music.
