IndoUS Tribune salutes the unwavering devotion of Baldev Raj and his Nishkam Seva Group at Vaishno Devi Baldev Raj’s seva goes beyond mere maintenance. His group’s work culminates during Navratri, when he leads a team of 15 expert artisans to the Bhavan a week before the festival begins. They work around the clock to polish the silver and brass, while also adorning the deities with garments and ornaments brought from Delhi. Every piece of cloth and every element of decoration is chosen with reverence, ensuring that Mata Rani’s adornment is worthy of her divine presence. This intricate work, done with love and devotion, transforms the temple into a beacon of faith during the holy festival.

What truly sets Baldev Raj apart is his holistic approach to seva. Each month, he begins his journey from Jammu, starting with sacred services at Kol Kandoli, then moving to Deva MaiCharan PadukaAdhkuwari, and finally the Bhavan. In each location, Baldev and his team perform the rituals of cleaning, polishing, and adorning the murtis (deities), ensuring that every step of the pilgrimage is honored.

IndoUS Tribune proudly salutes Baldev Raj and his Nishkam Seva Group for their tireless dedication. Their selfless service over the past three decades has not only maintained the physical beauty of the shrine but has also strengthened the spiritual experience of millions of devotees who visit Mata Vaishno Devi. The group’s love, humility, and commitment to serving Mata Rani stand as an inspiring testament to the power of devotion.

Their nishkam seva—service performed without any expectation of reward—sends a powerful message to the global community, exemplifying how true devotion is expressed through action. The bond they share with the divine is deeply felt, not only in the work they do but also in the impact they leave on the hearts of devotees.

Baldev Raj and his team’s work is more than just service—it is an act of love, reverence, and unshakable faith. IndoUS Tribune commends their devotion, recognizing them as a true inspiration for all who seek to serve with humility and honor.
