The Kadva Patidar Samaj (KPS) of Chicago celebrated its Annual Diwali Celebration on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Crystal Palace Banquets in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. The grand event brought together over 300 KPS families and friends, filling the hall with light, laughter, and the warmth of community togetherness.

KPS Vice President Satish Patel opened the evening by extending a heartfelt welcome to all members, families, friends, and generous donors. In his address, he conveyed best wishes for a joyous and prosperous Diwali, emphasizing the Samaj’s unity and shared cultural pride.

The celebration commenced with the traditional Deep Pragatya (lamp lighting) ceremony, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. The ceremony was graciously performed by the Grand Sponsors:
Rajal & Ketan Patel, Vimlaben & Amrutbhai Patel, Shankarbhai Patel, Manjulaben & Jayantibhai Patel, and Ishvarbhai & Shantaben Patel.

KPS Dedicated Trustee Narendra Patel took a special moment to recognize the sponsors’ families for their continued commitment and generous support toward the Samaj’s activities and community growth.

Later, KPS Secretary Himanshu Patel expressed appreciation to all annual advertisement sponsors and invited them to the stage for acknowledgment. He also proudly introduced the new KPS Committee Members for 2026–2027, who will carry forward the organization’s mission of service and unity.

Guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner featuring a wide variety of appetizers, entrées, and traditional desserts. The evening’s highlight was an energetic live performance by the Rang Rasiya Musical Group, led by Sanjay More, who kept the audience enthralled with a lively mix of Bollywood hits and Garba rhythms.

As the night progressed, attendees filled the dance floor, celebrating Diwali with vibrant music, joyful dancing, and heartfelt camaraderie. The festivities continued until 12:15 AM, marking another successful and memorable Diwali celebration for the Kadva Patidar Samaj of Chicago.
