The Government of India has opened applications for the 82nd edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), an initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs designed to connect Indian diaspora youth with their cultural roots. Scheduled to take place from May 12 to May 31, 2025, the program offers participants a deep dive into India’s heritage, economic progress, and governance.

The 82nd KIP is open to Indian-origin individuals aged 21 to 35 years, excluding non-resident Indians. Participants will engage in immersive experiences, including visits to cultural landmarks, interactions with policymakers, and exposure to India’s contemporary development.

Applicants must submit a scanned copy of the completed application form along with required documents to the Consulate General of India in Chicago via email (pic.chicago@mea.gov.in) by April 18, 2025.
