Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) issued a strong statement following the murder of Indian American immigrant Chandra Nagamallaiah, who was brutally killed in Dallas in front of his wife and son.

“I am horrified by the brutal murder of Chandra Nagamallaiah, a hardworking Indian American immigrant killed in Dallas in front of his wife and son. My deepest condolences go to his family. The perpetrator must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” said Congressman Krishnamoorthi.

The Congressman expressed solidarity with the grieving family and stressed the importance of bringing the perpetrator to justice without delay.
