Meet HAF’s team this Sunday in Long Grove, IL

The Hindu American Foundation is inviting community members for a meet and greet on Sunday, January 14, in Chicago. Organized by HAF, the event aims to bring the community members together to work on initiatives and ensure that the community is better understood and respected by educators, lawmakers, and law enforcement.

You can connect with like minded individuals and meet HAF’s Midwest Regional Director, Yash Desai, who recently took on a full time role to serve the Hindu American community in the Midwest.

A non-profit advocacy organization for the Hindu American community, HAF has been at the forefront of major issues impacting the Hindu American community for the last 20 years including textbook reform, the appropriation of yoga, the misunderstanding about the Swastika, and more.

The event is organized at the Harisumiran Hindu Swaminarayan Temple, 1670 Checker Road, Long Grove, IL. This is a free event, however registration is required.
