The 2nd Annual Beautiful Minds Pink Saree 5K & Wellness Expo brought together dignitaries, survivors, and youth leaders from across Illinois and India in a vibrant celebration of women’s wellness, mental health, and cultural unity. Organized under the #MyPinkHealth global initiative, the event reaffirmed the growing Indo–U.S. collaboration for a healthier, more empowered generation.

Hosted by Beautiful Minds Youth Mentoring Foundation (USA) in partnership with Beautiful Youth Minds India (Section 8 Company), the initiative created a dynamic platform promoting awareness, mentorship, and artisan empowerment. Together, the organizations championed a shared vision of advancing women’s health, emotional well-being, and self-reliance through education and enterprise.

Distinguished guests and honorees

The event was graced by several dignitaries and community leaders, including:

A day of wellness, culture, and impact

The day-long celebration featured a 5K Walk & Run for AwarenessYoga and Mindfulness sessionsfree health screenings, and a Women’s Enterprise Empowerment Marketplace highlighting women-owned small businesses and artisan ventures.

Youth participants showcased creativity and advocacy through the Pink Saree Parade and a Global Art Exhibition, linking students from Illinois and Odisha in a shared mission of empowerment and empathy. The blend of cultural displays, interactive sessions, and artistic exchanges reflected a powerful unity of purpose between the two nations — intertwining wellness, creativity, and community service.

Building a global bridge of wellness

The MyPinkHealth initiative continues to expand as a bridge between India and the United States, inspiring inter school art contests, mental health workshops in Odisha, and youth mentoring forums across the U.S. Rooted in the belief that “wellness is not just physical, but also emotional, social, and cultural,” the program continues to redefine global health and collaboration.

Looking ahead

Following this year’s success, organizers announced the upcoming Global Wellness & Women’s Enterprise Week 2026, set to unite artisans, health professionals, and youth leaders from both nations. The initiative aims to further the mission of women’s health, empowerment, and mental wellness on a global scale.

The Beautiful Minds Pink Saree 5K & Wellness Expo 2025 stood as a shining example of how compassion, collaboration, and cultural pride can foster not just wellness, but a deeply connected world.
