Raghav Chadha Playfully Teases Parineeti Chopra on Karwa Chauth
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha, who tied the knot last year in Udaipur, celebrated their second Karwa Chauth in New Delhi on Sunday.
The couple shared delightful photos from their festivities on their Instagram accounts. In one charming image, Raghav was seen playfully tugging at Parineeti’s ponytail. He expressed his admiration in a heartfelt post, writing, “I’m in awe of how you fast all day with such strength and grace. Your love and dedication from sunrise to moonrise is truly moving… it makes me wonder how I can ever match that kind of selflessness. Happy Karwa Chauth, my darling Paru! #KarwaChauth.”
Among the photos, one captured Raghav helping Parineeti break her fast with water, while another showed the couple smiling and holding hands during a park stroll. Parineeti was also seen with other women observing the fast, surrounded by their sargi thalis. A candid moment featured them sharing laughter while seated on the lawn. For her first Karwa Chauth, the actress donned a rani pink salwar suit, accessorized with statement earrings, while Raghav complemented her in a pista green kurta pajama and Nehru jacket. Their coordinated outfits highlighted their chemistry.
Parineeti shared her own set of pictures, captioning, “My moon and my stars … Happy Karwa Chauth, love of my life!” Earlier, she gave a sneak peek of her simple mehendi design for the occasion. Traveling from Mumbai to join Raghav in New Delhi, she marked this special day with him. The couple got engaged at Kapurthala House in Delhi in May 2023 and married on September 24, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at The Leela Palace in Udaipur.
On the professional front, Parineeti was last seen in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, directed by Imtiaz Ali, where she starred alongside Diljit Dosanjh in this biographical drama about the iconic folk singer.
