CM Yogi thanks PM Modi for Maha Kumbh 2025 success
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath credited the successful completion of Maha Kumbh 2025 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, calling the event a “Maha Yagya of unity, equality, and harmony.”
Responding to PM Modi’s social media post on Maha Kumbh, CM Yogi expressed gratitude, saying, “Respected Prime Minister, your guidance has ensured that Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj has set new benchmarks in security, cleanliness, and management while upholding its grandeur and divinity.”
He highlighted the massive participation, stating that over 66 crore devotees, including revered saints and sages, took a holy dip in the Triveni during the 45-day festival.
CM Yogi emphasized the spiritual significance of Maha Kumbh, describing it as a festival of humanity that spreads the message of unity and strengthens global harmony under the sentiment of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).
“Your guidance and good wishes always inspire us. Thank you very much, Prime Minister!” he added.
PM Modi, in his blog on Maha Kumbh, praised its successful organization and urged the nation to unite for the “Maha Yagya of a Viksit Bharat” (Developed India). He appreciated the efforts of the Centre, the Uttar Pradesh government, and the people of Prayagraj for their dedicated service to the millions of devotees attending the once-in-144-year spiritual gathering.
Recognizing the challenges of hosting such a grand event, the Prime Minister humbly sought forgiveness from the public.
“I know organizing such a massive event was not easy. I pray to Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, Maa Saraswati… O Maa, if we have fallen short in our service, please forgive us. I also seek forgiveness from the devotees, whom I consider God,” he wrote.
Maha Kumbh 2025, which witnessed an unprecedented gathering, has been hailed as a historic event, showcasing India’s spiritual and cultural heritage while demonstrating its exceptional capacity for large-scale event management.
