Amit Shah to address Global Investors’ Summit 2025 closing session
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will deliver the closing address at the prestigious two-day Global Investors’ Summit 2025 in Bhopal on Tuesday.
Shah is set to arrive at the Indira Gandhi Manav Sangrahalaya at 4 p.m., adding significance to the summit’s concluding session.
Earlier in the day, Union Minister of Power and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, participated in morning sessions, including a discussion on “Unlocking Land Value and Cities.” Khattar elaborated on the integrated town policy, while Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya shared insights into the development of urban growth centers near upcoming metro rail projects.
The first day of the summit featured a special session and an expo focused on the textile sector. While investment figures are yet to be officially announced, the second day is expected to bring major commitments in textiles—a labor-intensive industry poised to generate significant job opportunities, particularly for women.
“The state government is set to reveal investment proposals for the textile sector. Today’s agenda also includes sessions on tourism, non-resident Indians, mining, MSMEs, and startups,” said Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
He further emphasized that 2025 has been designated the ‘Year of Industry and Employment’ and highlighted initiatives aimed at attracting investors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of Madhya Pradesh as India’s ‘Textile Capital’ and a ‘Favorite Manufacturing Destination’ was a key topic, along with his ‘Triple-T’ mantra—Textile, Tourism, and Technology— as a guiding principle for economic growth.
The summit also featured a session with acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi, who shared his cinematic journey as part of discussions on tourism.
Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is also scheduled to participate in the event.
