PM Modi, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu discuss strengthening strategic partnership
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, during which both leaders discussed ways to further strengthen the India–Israel Strategic Partnership in the coming year. The two leaders also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and reaffirmed their shared resolve to combat terrorism with greater determination.
In a post on X, PM Modi said he conveyed New Year greetings to Netanyahu and the people of Israel, adding that discussions focused on deepening bilateral cooperation. The leaders reiterated their zero-tolerance approach towards terrorism in all its forms.
The conversation follows recent high-level engagements, including External Affairs Minister S. Both sides expressed satisfaction over the continued momentum in bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to a just and durable peace in West Asia.
