Nitish Kumar to visit Kaimur for Pragati Yatra projects

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is scheduled to visit Kaimur district on Tuesday as part of his ongoing Pragati Yatra. During the visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development projects across multiple sectors, worth several crores of rupees.

The district administration has made extensive security arrangements for his visit. Kumar is expected to arrive by helicopter at Bharkhar village in Mohaniya block at 10:40 AM, where he will unveil the foundation stones and inaugurate various schemes. He will then participate in a program at Mohaniya market before returning to Bharkhar.

At noon, the Chief Minister will proceed to Adhaura by helicopter, where he will lay the foundation for a new degree college and inaugurate a hospital and stadium. At 12:45 PM, Kumar will visit Kohira Dam to observe the Kohira River. By 1:30 PM, he will return to the Bhabua District Guest House.

After lunch, the CM will conduct a review meeting with officials at the Mundeshwari Auditorium in the Collectorate office.

During his visit, Nitish Kumar will inaugurate a newly constructed Primary Health Centre (PHC) building worth Rs 7.69 crore and a sports ground in Adhaura Block. These initiatives aim to improve healthcare and provide sports facilities for local youth.

In addition, the CM will inaugurate several other key projects, including Jeevika Bhawan, a Waste Processing Unit, a Plastic Waste Management Unit, Govardhan Yojana, Panchayat Bhawan, Community Bhawan cum Work Shed, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, and various playgrounds.

He will also open a warehouse built by the Cooperative Department and launch numerous water-related projects under the Water Resources Department. Further, he will lay the foundation for other vital infrastructure projects, such as the Bihar Police Bhawan, a warehouse for the Food and Consumer Protection Department, 456 toilets in schools across the district, and new Primary Health Centres in several blocks. The Pragati Yatra will also cover integrated street-drain systems, Pyaun, Talab Yojana, and Community Bhawans.

This visit is expected to significantly boost development in Kaimur, particularly in areas affected by Naxalism, by improving infrastructure, healthcare, and education. The district administration has made all necessary preparations to ensure smooth execution of the inaugurations and foundation stone ceremonies.
