Supriya Sule leads anti-terror outreach in Qatar under Op Sindoor

An Indian multi-party parliamentary delegation led by MP Supriya Sule concluded its visit to Qatar, completing the first leg of a four-nation tour under Operation Sindoor to present India’s united front against terrorism following the April 22 Pahalgam attack.

During the two-day visit, the delegation held high-level meetings with Qatari ministers and the Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council. They also engaged in a roundtable with scholars at the Middle East Council for Global Affairs and met editorial boards of top newspapers.

At a community reception on May 26, Indian expatriates expressed strong support for India’s anti-terror stance. The delegation reiterated India’s zero-tolerance approach to cross-border terrorism and urged dismantling of terror infrastructure.

Qatar’s leadership echoed India’s views, condemning the Pahalgam attack and reaffirming its opposition to terrorism. The delegation praised the Indian diaspora in Qatar for promoting unity and pluralism.

Members of the delegation include MPs from across political parties, former ministers, and Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin. The team now heads to South Africa for the next phase of its outreach.
