In a triumphant spiritual celebration, legendary bhajan singer Lakhbir Singh Lakha has launched his highly anticipated 2025 U.S. tour, “Mela Maiya Da,” receiving resounding acclaim and packed venues. Revered worldwide for timeless devotional classics like “Pyara Saja Hai Tera Dwar Bhawani,” “Shree Ram Janki Bethen Hein Mere Seene Mein,” and “Are Dwarpalo,” Lakha’s return to the United States after nearly two decades was electric.

The tour opened to overwhelming response at the DFW Hindu Temple in Dallas on August 1st, followed by a spiritually charged evening at Rajdhani Temple in Chantilly, Virginia on August 2nd.

A highlight of the chowkis was the introduction of Panna Gill, son of Lakhbir Singh Lakha Ji and finalist of Indian Idol Season 2, making his U.S. devotional debut. Panna’s powerful voice and heartfelt bhajans infused the events with youthful energy, captivating audiences so deeply that programs were extended by over an hour.

In response to this enthusiasm, Dr. Avi Verma announced plans to professionally organize a series of devotional and Bollywood musical concerts featuring Panna Gill across North America in 2026.
