Tributes and condolences flooded in following the announcement of the passing of Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group and one of India’s most esteemed industrialists.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed that Tata was a “legendary industrialist and true nationalist” who would “live on in our hearts.” He wrote on X: “He selflessly dedicated his life to the development of our nation. His zeal and commitment to Bharat and its people amazed me. His legacy will endure. My condolences to the Tata Group and his countless admirers. Om Shanti.”
Prominent political figures from various parties also took to social media to share their grief. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated, “Saddened by the passing of Shri Ratan Tata.
