Amit Shah to lead major BJP campaign rallies across Delhi today
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address multiple public gatherings across Delhi on Monday as part of the BJP’s ongoing campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections on February 5.
The events will be held in key constituencies, aiming to strengthen the party’s outreach and connect with voters ahead of the polls.
Shah’s campaign schedule for the day
- Jangpura Assembly Constituency – 11:30 AM, Bhagwan Nagar Market
- Bijwasan Assembly Constituency – 2:30 PM, Dada Dev Ground, Raj Nagar, Mehrauli
- Dwarka Assembly Constituency – 3:30 PM, Ram Leela Ground, Durga Park, Najafgarh
These rallies are part of a series of roadshows organized by Delhi BJP to boost voter engagement and deliver the party’s message across the national capital.
Shah’s criticism of AAP
Earlier, during a rally in Rohini, Amit Shah criticized the AAP government, calling it a party of “lies, deceit, and fraud.” He accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of failing to fulfill major promises, such as:
- Shutting down liquor vends in residential areas
- Cleaning the Yamuna River to match the Thames in London
- Doubling the number of hospital beds
“Kejriwal accuses BJP of poisoning Yamuna water, but does any single Delhiite believe him?” Shah questioned during his speech.
He further claimed that AAP is known for breaking promises, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s words are “etched in stone.”
Delhi elections: The final push
With the February 5 elections fast approaching, the battle for Delhi is intensifying as AAP, BJP, and Congress step up their campaigns.
All three parties have released their manifestos, presenting key promises to win voter support. The final outcome of this high-stakes election will be revealed on February 8.
