CM Bhajan Lal Sharma to Visit Germany and Britain Ahead of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Summit

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is set to travel to Germany and Britain on Monday to boost investments and create job opportunities for Rajasthan’s youth, in preparation for the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit scheduled for December 9-11 in Jaipur.

During his visit, CM Sharma aims to meet with various industrialists to highlight Rajasthan’s potential for growth in sectors such as mining, tourism, and renewable energy. “We will engage with leading industrialists to attract more investors to Rajasthan,” he stated.

Emphasizing the state’s development prospects, he said, “Rajasthan is promising in many respects, with significant scope for growth in mining, tourism, industry, education, and healthcare. The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ program aims to propel our state towards becoming a developed region.”

The delegation, led by the Chief Minister, plans to connect with companies across diverse sectors including construction, mobility, automobiles, startups, artificial intelligence, tourism, defense, education, health, green hydrogen, and renewable energy. European businesses will be invited to explore investment opportunities in Rajasthan and participate in the upcoming summit.

Key meetings are planned with prominent firms and leaders such as Albatross Projects, Knauf Engineering, SFC Energy AG, JCB, and Renew Power, along with discussions with Florian Herrmann, Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery in Munich.

In London, the delegation will engage with British parliamentarians to strengthen bilateral economic ties. Additionally, they will connect with the Non-Resident Rajasthani (NRR) community and the wider Indian diaspora in Munich and London.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, along with Additional Chief Secretary to the CM Shikhar Agrawal and other senior officials, will accompany the Chief Minister on this important European tour, which is part of ongoing global outreach efforts leading up to the summit.
