CM Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav pay tribute to Ratan Tata
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, and other leaders in Bihar have expressed their deep sorrow over the passing of industrialist Ratan Tata.
In his condolence message, CM Nitish Kumar stated, “India has lost a precious gem. The news of the death of renowned industrialist and Padma Vibhushan awardee Ratan Tata is extremely sad and unbearable. He provided stable leadership to one of India’s oldest and most prestigious business houses. His humility, kindness, and unwavering commitment to improving society earned him immense love from the common people. I pray to God to grant a high place to his departed soul and give strength to the bereaved family in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!”
Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, took to X to express his condolences, writing, “I extend my deepest sympathies on the passing of Ratan Tata, a prominent industrialist with a profound belief in human values and philanthropy. He was a visionary leader, a model of honesty, ethics, kindness, and goodwill. He lived for others and led an exemplary life. May God grant him a place at His feet.”
Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi expressed his shock at Tata’s passing, stating, “We have lost a great son of the country. Ratan Tata significantly contributed to strengthening the Indian economy. With his demise, India has lost a remarkable industrialist, social worker, and patriot. May God grant peace to his soul.”
Former law minister and BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad also shared his grief, emphasizing that Ratan Tata was a distinguished industrialist who dedicated his life to India’s industrial progress and social development. “This is an irreparable loss for Indian industry. Under his leadership, the Tata Group made an indelible mark both in India and globally. Ratan Tata’s contributions to economic progress and social work are unparalleled. His leadership, philanthropy, simplicity, and humility will inspire generations to come. I pray for peace for his departed soul and ask God to grant him a place at His feet. Om Shanti!” Prasad said.
