Donald Trump Jr. to visit Taj Mahal with global delegation today
US President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., will arrive in Agra on Thursday for a special tour of the Taj Mahal, accompanied by a large international delegation. According to officials, Trump Jr. is traveling with 126 distinguished guests from 40 countries, making the visit one of the most high-profile private delegations to the monument in recent years.
He will land at Agra’s Kheria Airport in a special aircraft before heading directly to the Taj Mahal under a tight security arrangement. This marks Trump Jr.’s first-ever visit to the iconic Mughal-era structure. His father, former President Donald Trump, had visited the monument in 2020 along with First Lady Melania Trump.
In preparation for the visit, the local administration has launched an extensive clean-up and security operation. This included removing stray animals—16 dogs and 12 cows—from the surrounding roads, clearing traffic routes, and conducting a special sanitation drive to ensure an impeccable experience for the guests. Security agencies have coordinated closely to guarantee smooth movement from the airport to the Taj complex.
Trump Jr., an entrepreneur and executive in the Trump Organization, is also expected to remain in India over the weekend. His trip includes attending a grand destination wedding in Udaipur, which has attracted significant attention due to its exclusive guest list featuring global dignitaries, Indian politicians, business leaders, and celebrities.
The wedding, scheduled for November 21 and 22, will take place across some of Udaipur’s most prestigious heritage venues. The main ceremony will be hosted at the Jag Mandir Palace on Lake Pichola, an island palace renowned for its royal architecture. Additional festivities are planned at Manek Chowk inside the historic City Palace complex. Trump Jr. is likely to stay at The Leela Palace Udaipur, one of India’s most luxurious lakefront hotels.
A team from a U.S. security agency is already stationed in Udaipur to oversee preparations. With VIP arrivals expected to peak over the next 48 hours, the Rajasthan administration has placed the city on heightened alert, enforcing strict security protocols and monitoring key routes.
Known worldwide as the “City of Lakes,” Udaipur has long been a favored destination for celebrity and high-net-worth weddings. The city has previously hosted celebrations for Priyanka Chopra–Nick Jonas, Hardik Pandya, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Isha Ambani.
