
EAM Jaishankar meets Antony Blinken, US NSA Sullivan in Washington
External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor (NSA) Jake Sullivan in Washington, DC, on Thursday.
The meetings focused on the progress of the India-US strategic partnership and current regional and global developments. Jaishankar and Blinken reviewed the advancement of bilateral relations over the past four years, emphasizing the strengthened cooperation in various sectors.
Jaishankar expressed confidence that the growing ties between India and the US would continue to serve mutual interests and contribute to global good. The discussions also highlighted areas for further collaboration, including technology, trade, and investment.
Earlier, Jaishankar met with the US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to discuss a range of issues related to both countries’ shared priorities.
The meetings came as part of Jaishankar’s official visit to the US from December 24 to 29, which aims to strengthen the ongoing partnership between India and the US.
