Karnataka CM Remembers Ratan Tata’s Dedication to Social Causes
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, along with state BJP chief and other leaders, paid heartfelt tributes to industrialist Ratan Tata following his passing.
CM Siddaramaiah expressed deep sorrow at the loss of the iconic industrialist and visionary leader. “Ratan Tata’s contributions to India’s progress and philanthropy are immeasurable. His legacy of compassion, humility, and nation-building will continue to inspire generations. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace,” he stated.
Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy also expressed his grief, noting that Ratan Tata’s legacy as a philanthropist and industrialist profoundly impacted countless lives and communities. “His vision, compassion, and unwavering dedication to social causes will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this challenging time,” Kumaraswamy said.
State Minister for Large and Heavy Industries M.B. Patil highlighted Tata’s pivotal role in shaping India’s industrial culture. “The passing of Ratan Tata, a cornerstone of the Tata Group, has created a void. His absence is a significant loss for both India and Karnataka,” he remarked from the US, where he is currently on an official trip.
Patil recalled the contributions of Jamsetji Tata and JRD Tata in building modern India, adding, “After them, Ratan Tata expanded the Tata Group globally over two decades.” He noted the group’s substantial investments in Karnataka, which have created numerous jobs, and praised Tata for his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to societal welfare.
State Minister for Health Dinesh Gundu Rao emphasized Tata’s remarkable leadership, humility, integrity, and compassion, which have left a lasting legacy in both business and social welfare. “His life and work continue to inspire generations to lead with purpose and heart. My deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and all who admired him,” Rao said.
BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra remarked, “Some leave footprints on the sands of time; Ratan Tata left his on the very fabric of our nation. A visionary leader, compassionate soul, and extraordinary human being, he was dedicated to dreaming big and giving back.
