Former Danish Ambassador to India Freddy Svane has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his decisive response to cross-border terrorism following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

In a special interaction with IANS, Svane called PM Modi a “true defender of India” and commended India’s strong diplomatic and military stance through Operation Sindoor. He applauded the Modi-led government for exposing Pakistan’s support for terrorism on the global stage and called the dispatch of all-party delegations abroad a smart move to build international consensus.

Svane criticized Pakistan for supporting terrorism and urged global unity against such threats. He noted PM Modi’s growing international popularity and called him a strategic leader steering the rise of a stronger, assertive India.

“New India has arrived,” Svane said, emphasizing that the global community recognizes India’s emergence as a major power in Asia under PM Modi’s leadership.
