Barcelona will have to wait at least another day to seal the La Liga title after Real Madrid edged Mallorca 2-1 on Wednesday night.

Madrid’s Jacobo Ramon scored a last-second winner, flicking the ball over goalkeeper Leo Roman to snatch victory and keep Barca’s celebrations on hold until after their Thursday clash with Espanyol.

Mallorca had taken an early lead through Martin Valjent in the 11th minute. Despite multiple saves from Roman against Endrick, Jude Bellingham, and Mbappe, the latter equalized in the second half before Ramon’s dramatic finish.

Elsewhere, Villarreal beat Leganes 3-0 to tie fourth-place Athletic Bilbao on points, while Alaves beat Valencia 1-0. The results pushed Las Palmas into relegation.
